ECHPS works with leagues and associations accross Europe and Scandinavia. Many countries do not have “official” college hockey leagues or teams. Some universities like the University of Bern in Switzerland do not have an official team, but do form teams to play games against other universities.
Some countries like Poland are building their country’s college hockey league and also play in the European University Hockey League. This allows for more games, and expanded scouting opportunities for professional teams across Europe.
