Congratulations!  You are taking the first steps to take control of your academic and athletic future.

ECHPS will walk you through all the steps to apply as a first-year student if you are currently in high school (regardless of total college credits completed while in high school) or if you have graduated from high school but haven’t enrolled at a college, university or any other school after high school.

Before we assist you in the university selection process, there are some steps we need to take.

  1. Plan for an application fee
  2. Prepare to request official transcripts from your high school
  3. Select your preference for a Major
  4. Prepare and document any college course work you have already completed
  5. Prepare to write an essay as it may be required for some Majors
  6. Prepare letters of reference for academics as well as athletics
  7. Have a highlight video prepared – not longer than three minutes

Once we prepare all of the documentation, we will walk you through the application process, and the team placement process.

Deadlines to apply for admissions can be different from country to country.  What ECHPS will do for you is prepare a list of universities that meet your criteria for a major.  Then we will discuss with you the advantages of each university along with the hockey opportunities that are available.

Once you have made a choice on the university, we walk you through the application and acceptance process.  Once accepted into the university, we ensure your acceptance on the roster of the chosen univeristy or local team if there is no official university team.

While there are several official college hockey leagues in Europe and Scandinavia, some universities utilize local teams in the top development leagues as their hockey program.
