With the changes taking place in North American NCAA hockey, and college hockey in Canadian leagues, our service makes your transition to European universities and teams a smooth one.

Players with NCAA, ACHA, CIS or other University experience, those who have recently been decommitted, or those who did not receive the NCAA opportunity they had hoped for, will find the opportunities and process we provide invaluable.

ECHPS can make your transfer smooth and easy. No messy portal to deal with, and you are in total control of the university you attend and team you play for.

A transfer applicant is a student who has attended one or more colleges or universities and has completed 12 or more transferable semester credits post-high school. Students with fewer than 12 transferable credits are considered incoming first-year students.

Before we assist you in the university selection process, there are some steps we need to take.

  1. Plan for an application fee
  2. Prepare to request official transcripts from any university you have attended
  3. Select your preference for a Major
  4. Prepare letters of reference for academics as well as athletics
  5. Have a highlight video prepared – not longer than three minutes

Once we prepare all of the documentation, we will walk you through the application process, and the team placement process.

Deadlines to apply for admissions can be different from country to country.  What ECHPS will do for you is prepare a list of universities that meet your criteria for a major.  Then we will discuss with you the advantages of each university along with the hockey opportunities that are available.

Once you have made a choice on the university, we walk you through the application and acceptance process.  Once accepted into the university, we ensure your acceptance on the roster of the chosen univeristy or local team if there is no official university team.

While there are several official college hockey leagues in Europe and Scandinavia, some universities utilize local teams in the top development leagues as their hockey program.
